How do I choose between forum, Q&A, ideas, and feed?

I'm setting up my first few spaces and I'm not sure which type to pick. What's the right use case for each of forum, Q&A, ideas, and feed?

A quick rule of thumb would help a lot.

One caveat for larger communities: keep an eye on the indexes. At a few thousand rows the difference is night and day.
